Major renovations taking place – front entrance reconfigured, driveways relocated, retail and restaurant added, north tower units gutted.
The existing entrance on 15th Street will remove the driveway, guard house and fence and become landscaped with grass and trees for use by the Flamingo residents and the general public. Pick up/drop off will no longer be allowed here.
The second story glass walkway in the very front of the Flamingo will become an “amenity area” for use only by residents of the Flamingo. The glass walkway will add balcony and sliding glass doors on the west side facing the bay.
All the office space on the ground floor, 6,000 sf, facing Bay Rd (located slightly north of the center tower) will become retail shops and a restaurant for use by the Flamingo residents and the general public.
South tower will have a new interior circular driveway for pick up/drop off for Uber and guests. Same with north end of property, create a large interior circular driveway for pick up/drop off
Units at far north will have communal volleyball and grill area removed and replaced with a private beach for exclusive use by only 3 and 4 bedroom units.
Renovation will be done in 3 stages, break ground in 2018 for stage I, 2019 for stage II, 2020 for stage III.
